These Terms govern your purchase and use of any Lit Galaxy Festival ticket, your visit to the festival grounds, and your use of this website and any account you create with us. By buying a ticket or entering the grounds, you accept these terms in full.

Lit Galaxy Festival ("we," "us," "Lit Galaxy") is a Canadian-registered event company operating out of Ontario, Canada. These terms are governed by Ontario law and the federal laws of Canada that apply within it.

A ticket is a personal, non-transferable licence to enter the festival grounds on the dates printed on the wristband, subject to these terms and any reasonable instructions from festival staff.

• All ticket sales are final, subject to the cancellation and refund rules in our Ticket Policy.
• Tickets purchased from any source other than litgalaxy.ca or an officially-listed reseller are not valid for entry.
• Re-selling tickets above face value is prohibited and may result in cancellation without refund.
• Pricing, taxes, and applicable fees are confirmed at checkout. Once paid, your ticket is locked at that price.

Your wristband is the physical proof of admission. Treat it like cash — it cannot be replaced if lost, damaged, or removed from your wrist.

• Wristbands ship 4–6 weeks before the festival to the address on file. Keep your address current via your account.
• The wristband must remain on the original wearer for the full weekend. Switching it to another person voids it.
• Tampered, cut, or counterfeit wristbands will be confiscated at the gate. Entry will be denied.

The festival is a shared space for tens of thousands of people. You agree to follow the rules below and any reasonable direction from staff or security.

• No harassment, discrimination, or threatening behaviour. We enforce a zero-tolerance code of conduct.
• Follow posted signage around stages, art installations, and restricted zones.
• Camp only in designated camping areas. Open fires are prohibited outside fire-pit zones.
• Drone flights, professional photography for commercial use, and unauthorized vending require prior written permission.

Lit Galaxy reserves the right to remove anyone from the grounds, without refund, for breach of these rules or applicable law.

To keep everyone safe, the following items are not permitted on the grounds. Security will screen at every gate.

• Weapons of any kind, including knives, firearms, and martial-arts equipment.
• Illegal substances. Cannabis is regulated under Ontario law; only legal personal amounts are permitted.
• Outside alcohol or large coolers. The wellness zone and family areas are alcohol-free.
• Glass containers, fireworks, flares, lasers, or pyrotechnics.
• Drones, audio recording equipment beyond consumer phones, or commercial film gear without a press pass.

The Lit Galaxy name, logo, art direction, photography, and website contents are owned by us or licensed to us. You may not use, reproduce, or adapt them for commercial purposes without written permission.

Personal photography and short-form video are welcome for personal, non-commercial sharing. Tag us and we may repost.

The festival is photographed and filmed throughout the weekend by our production team. By entering the grounds you grant Lit Galaxy a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use your image in promotional and editorial material related to the festival. If you'd rather not be photographed, talk to a steward at any gate for a "no-photo" pin.

Lit Galaxy takes safety seriously, but every outdoor event carries inherent risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• You enter the grounds at your own risk.
• Lit Galaxy is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
• Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms is limited to the price you paid for your ticket.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Canadian consumer-protection law, including death or personal injury caused by negligence.

If the festival is cancelled, postponed, or shortened due to events outside our reasonable control — including severe weather, government order, public- health emergency, or grid failure — our liability is governed by the cancellation provisions in our Ticket Policy.

We may update these terms ahead of each festival year. Active ticket holders are notified at least 30 days before any material change. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current revision.
