All-Ages, With Some Rules
Who can attend
Lit Galaxy is an all-ages festival with some 19+ zones for the Galaxy Bar and late-night spaces. Here's exactly how each age band works.
0 — 5
FreeFree Entry
Children five and under enter free, every day. No ticket required. Must remain with an accompanying adult at all times.
6 — 15
Youth PassHalf-Price Youth Pass
Ages 6–15 attend on a Youth Pass at half the Galaxy Pass price. Must be accompanied by an adult (one adult per four youth maximum).
16 — 18
All-AccessGalaxy Pass + Parental Consent
Sixteen- and seventeen-year-olds can attend on a regular Galaxy Pass with a signed parental consent form (downloadable at check-in).
19 +
19+ Zones UnlockedFull Festival Access
Galaxy Bar, after-hours DJ stages, and the late-night chill lounges are all open to attendees 19 and over. Valid government ID required.
The fine print
- Photo ID required at entry to all 19+ zones (driver's licence, passport, or provincial ID card)
- Adults attending with youth must be at least 25 years old and able to provide ID
- Lost children: every Info Point is a designated child-safe spot — staff will hold and contact you immediately
- Family-friendly zones (Wellness, Art Walk, daytime Sports) run from sunrise to 8 PM with no age gating
